Reggeborgh Skating Team

What began as a sprint team has now evolved into a sprint and all-round team. 'The Green Team' features a mix of young top talents like Jenning de Boo and Tim Prins and experienced skaters like Kjeld Nuis, Femke Kok, and Patrick Roest. Under the leadership of head coach Gerard van Velde, the team works hard every day to develop skating in all areas and elevate it to a higher level. From a professional team perspective, everyone contributes to areas such as technique, physical development, and mentality ranging from physiotherapists to massage therapists and from nutritionists to movement scientists.

Reggeborgh Marathon Team

Since 2022, Reggeborgh has also been the main sponsor of the Reggeborgh Marathon Team. While long-track skating is a race against the clock, marathon skating is different. You need each other to achieve victories. No successes are accomplished without teamwork. The marathon skaters and staff, led by coach and trainer Roy Boeve, work daily on personal development and tactics for the various races. In addition to competing in the Marathon Cup and the Dutch National Championships on artificial ice, they also race on natural ice at the Weissensee in Austria and Luleå in Sweden. As temperatures drop in the Netherlands and skating fever rises, all preparations are made to organise additional natural ice races.

For the Reggeborgh Skating and Marathon Teams, it’s about more than just winning. The skaters and staff are mindful of the world around them and are eager to contribute to the charitable causes and initiatives of the Reggeborgh Foundation.
