Our story

We aim to contribute to a healthy future for everyone through Corporate Social Responsibility.

With special focus on sports, medical innovations, top talent, and local engagement. Our activities include sports sponsorship, funding medical research, and supporting charitable causes.

In 2018, we made a significant leap forward in the development of our social responsibility strategy.

That year, we partnered with Reggeborgh in sponsoring the sprinter skating team led by Gerard van Velde. It was crucial to us that this collaboration was not just about elite sports but also about inspiring the next generation and promoting access to sports for everyone.

This vision gave rise to the Reggeborgh skating clinics, which we organised at many primary schools across the Netherlands. We also increased funding for various medical research projects and expanded our support for charitable causes.

Memorable milestones followed, including Olympic gold for Kjeld Nuis and Ireen Wüst at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, our main sponsorship of the Special Olympics National Games, and the successful Maarten van der Weijden Eleven Cities Triathlon, which raised €4.7 million for cancer research.

Since 2023, we have continued these social initiatives under the banner of the Reggeborgh Foundation. We do this together with our affiliated partners VolkerWessels, DW Property, Prescan, Reggeborgh Invest, and Real Estate, both nationally and regionally.

Our shared goal is to give back to society through an active Corporate Social Responsibility policy, with the Reggeborgh Foundation playing a central role in achieving that goal more effectively and powerfully.

In everything we do, we focus on what motivates people, as we see value in that motivation. The ambition of an elite athlete can inspire many, while the dedication of a physician can lead to groundbreaking advancements in healthcare.

We believe in the power of sports and actively connect our elite athletes with social initiatives. Our skaters visit primary schools and contribute to the charitable causes supported by the Reggeborgh Foundation.

We recognise the value of long-term collaborations and demonstrate our personal commitment to various initiatives. Our efforts focus on building meaningful relationships, both internally and with all employees.

Together, we strive for a society where everyone can enjoy sports and physical activity, and where medical research can contribute to a healthy future.

Our pillars

Fellowship

Medical

We believe it is important that scientists can engage in ground-breaking research so that they can work on the best possible care. Therefore, we contribute to various medical scientific research projects of (academic) hospitals. We also collaborate on the Reggeborgh Research Fellowship, a unique training and research programme aimed at talented doctors and technical physicians to advance medical innovations in healthcare.

All initiatives

Sport

We aim to make sport accessible to everyone. Not only because of its contribution to vitality and health, but also because sport connects. We therefore support sport at various levels and in different disciplines, including top-level sport, grassroots sport and sport for people with disabilities.
