Villa Joep's mission is to eradicate childhood neuroblastoma from the world. Every year, 25 to 30 young children in the Netherlands receive the frightening diagnosis and the survival rate is alarmingly low. This makes neuroblastoma one of the most aggressive forms of childhood cancer.

We have been supporting Villa Joep for almost 10 years. They fund research to increase the chances of a cure.

The ice skating team has been in action for Villa Joep several times last season, such as on Lake Weissensee where they skated donning special Villa Joep suits during the Aart Koopmans Memorial. Not only to draw attention to this charity, but also to raise money by auctioning the skating suits with the distinctive Villa Joep elephant afterwards. The suit auctioned raised €6,750 in total.

The great thing is that Villa Joep will use all funds raised for the full 100% to accelerate research into a suitable treatment!
