Reggeborgh Foundation continues support for promising research into immune therapies for childhood cancer
Every year, about 600 children in the Netherlands are diagnosed with cancer. One in four of these children dies.

Since 2020, we have supported Sebastiaan van Heesch's research group at the Princess Máxima Center for Paediatric Oncology and their promising research into immunotherapy. Meanwhile, encouraging breakthroughs have already been achieved. That is why we will continue to contribute over the coming years so that they can continue working to improve cancer treatments, offering hope for a better future for children with cancer.
‘We are increasingly hearing from specialists that they are hopeful about the development of better treatment methods for childhood cancer. Immunotherapy seems to be the most successful in this and we are happy to contribute to enable research into it.’
