Partner day in Thialf: Skating together with the stars of Reggeborgh skating team
A fantastic day in Thialf! Reggeborgh Foundation organised a skating clinic for its partners, and how much we enjoyed it! Under the guidance of Schaatsteam Reggeborgh, including world champions Jenning de Boo, Femke Kok and Antoinette Rijpma-de Jong, the participants were given tips and tricks on the perfect start, the straight, the turns and agility on the ice. With so much skating knowledge in one place, everyone was able to make great strides.
The participants were divided into groups and received coaching for each section from the skaters of Schaatsteam Reggeborgh. Everyone worked hard, but most of all there was a lot of laughter and enjoyed the fun of skating. There were great learning moments, surprising talents and, above all, a great atmosphere on the ice.
To conclude, all participants competed in an exciting relay race. After this sporting challenge, it was time to enjoy a delicious lunch.
