Double win for Reggeborgh marathon skating team at The Four of North Holland
The Reggeborgh marathon skating team won the four-day The Four of North Holland event, impressively demonstrating what teamwork is all about. For four days, our marathon skaters competed together for success, resulting in a stunning double win: Bart Hoolwerf crowned himself winner of the overall competition, while Casper de Gier took the sprint crown.

A real team effort
The secret behind this victory? Team members adhering to the plan they made beforehand. The focus was on supporting Bart Hoolwerf. His teammates - Evert Hoolwerf, Gary Hekman, Crispijn Ariëns and Casper de Gier - showed what true dedication is all about. Tactical riding and unconditional commitment ensured that Bart emerged victorious after four intense days of racing. In addition, Casper de Gier managed to make the most of his speed, which earned him the win in the sprint event.
With this double win, the Reggeborgh marathon skating team displayed not only individual class but above all the power of working together. An achievement to be proud of!
‘The overall win and Bart and Casper's victory in The Four of North Holland is our reward for sticking to our race plan. When the men go for something, they do it 100%.’
